Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: July 11, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Valerie Weber Counseling website and telehealth counseling services offered to clients in New York, Indiana, and Illinois. By accessing this website or scheduling services with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Use of This Website

This website is provided for informational purposes and to allow prospective and current clients to learn about our services and request an appointment. You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to misuse any content, forms, or functionality found here.

Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

Nothing on this website constitutes medical or psychiatric emergency services. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing or texting 988. Our counseling services are not designed for, and should not be used in, crisis or emergency situations.

Telehealth Services

Counseling services are provided remotely through secure telehealth platforms. By scheduling and participating in telehealth sessions, you confirm that you are physically located in New York, Indiana, or Illinois at the time of service, as required by state licensing regulations, and that you have a private, reliable internet connection suitable for a confidential session.

Scheduling and Cancellations

Appointments requested through this website or by phone are subject to availability and confirmation. Specific scheduling, cancellation, and late-arrival policies will be communicated directly to clients during intake and may be updated from time to time.

Professional Relationship

Submitting a contact form or scheduling request through this website does not, by itself, establish a counselor-client relationship. That relationship begins only once an intake appointment has been scheduled and completed in accordance with our clinical intake process.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Counseling outcomes vary by individual, and no specific results can be guaranteed. Information provided on this website, including descriptions of services and approach, is general in nature and is not a substitute for individualized clinical advice.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Valerie Weber Counseling or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Valerie Weber Counseling shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on information found on it. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party resources for informational purposes. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any linked third-party sites.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were most recently revised. Continued use of this website or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which services are rendered to you, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
